By the time the scientific community announces proof of plastic ingestion already found in more than 1,500 species of animals, 1,200 of which in the seas, a group of fish makes the hard decision of leaving their habitat and, even well aware of the presence of microplastic in the atmosphere, undertakes a journey towards the Atlantic Forest, hoping to live better days in the crown of a centenary fig tree.
